Production

Truck Driver

(1 year min. over-the-road experience required) - An immediate opening for a class A-CDL driver with a minimum of one year flatbed trailer experience; must meet DOT requirements. Local hauls. Salary potential between $50k - $70k. We offer a comprehensive benefit package.

 

Project Management

Project Manager

Requirements: • Ability to work safely and as part of a team • Ability to manage and administer multiple precast building projects simultaneously from post-sale through project close-out • Ability to coordinate the work of internal resources, manage the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to meet established quality and profitability standards • A stable work history and 4 years of relevant experience in construction project mgmt. • Minimum education level: B.S. in Construction Mgmt., Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture • Willingness to travel, as required. (It will be minimal.) • Experience with precast concrete is considered a plus.

 

Sales

Architectural Technical Salesperson

Easi-Set Worldwide, a subsidiary of Smith-Midland, is a national precast concrete products licensing company seeking an experienced salesperson who can sell architectural precast cladding to architects, owners, & developers. Candidate should have a successful track record of selling architectural products, knowledge of commercial building construction methods, minimum of 10 years of related experience. Travel required.

 

Sales Representative - Smith-Columbia - Hopkins, SC

Reports to the General Manager (Smith-Columbia) and VP of Sales and Marketing (Smith-Midland) and works collaboratively with management in the development and execution of sales & marketing strategies for all precast concrete products.

• Based out of the Hopkins, SC office. Some overnight travel is required. • The ability to track projects within SALESFORCE is required. • Directly responsible for all area/regional sales functions that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for our precast concrete products. • Promote Smith-Columbia's products and services to target end users. • Solve customers’ biggest challenges, collaborating closely to find the right solution. • Achieve established sales and margin goals. Estimate and bid projects. • Conduct presentations and sales calls before target end users. • Follow up on leads; ensure customer satisfaction; manage customer expectations. • Identify new and potential customers and strengthen relations with existing client base. • Develop, reinforce and execute local marketing strategies that raise visibility, awareness and interest about our capacity to fulfill expectations. • Oversees the sales plan development and execution. • Performs sales presentations, work product booth at tradeshows; participate in relevant industry organizations such as AGC of the Carolinas.
