AutoCAD Drafter

This Midland, Virginia position will work closely with our Production Managers, our Sales Staff and QC. If you have 2 years of professional experience with AutoCAD 2015 and later, and proficiency with SOLIDWORKS, and 3D modeling software, then Smith-Midland Corporation would like to speak with you.

A minimum of 2 years of precast concrete drawing experience is required as is experience with structural, architectural and shop drawings

Successful applicants will be creative and work well in a team environment. Interested candidates should include a resume and cover letter.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00/hour



Seeking drafter with construction experience with strong background in project coordination.  The position requires technical knowledge of building systems, including reinforced concrete products, good communication skills, abilities to prioritize, schedule and ability to follow through with tasks and customers.  Experience with computer applications including excel, scheduling programs, and AutoCAD.



Master Electrician

Smith-Midland Corporation seeks a licensed master electrician.

The qualified candidate must be able to: Manage and perform electrical outfitting of precast restrooms, concession stands, etc., Provide input to quoting and bidding process for new work and projects, Provide electrical support for SMC facility work.

Requirements: Certified Master Electrician, Ability to read prints and preform layouts, Understand code requirements, Ability to work in a team environment, Responsible for own tools unless provided specialized tools by SMC.

Working Conditions: Inside/Outside, as well as on/off job sites

Salary: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00/year


Truck Driver

(1 year min. over-the-road experience required) - An immediate opening for a class A-CDL driver with a minimum of one year flatbed trailer experience; must meet DOT requirements. Local hauls. Salary potential between $50k - $70k. We offer a comprehensive benefit package.


Project Management

Project Manager

Requirements: • Ability to work safely and as part of a team • Ability to manage and administer multiple precast building projects simultaneously from post-sale through project close-out • Ability to coordinate the work of internal resources, manage the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to meet established quality and profitability standards • A stable work history and 4 years of relevant experience in construction project mgmt. • Minimum education level: B.S. in Construction Mgmt., Engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture • Willingness to travel, as required. (It will be minimal.) • Experience with precast concrete is considered a plus.



Architectural Technical Salesperson

Easi-Set Worldwide, a subsidiary of Smith-Midland, is a national precast concrete products licensing company seeking an experienced salesperson who can sell architectural precast cladding to architects, owners, & developers. Candidate should have a successful track record of selling architectural products, knowledge of commercial building construction methods, minimum of 10 years of related experience. Travel required.


Sales Representative - South Carolina

We Currently have an immediate opening for a Sales Representative for our newly acquired plant in the Columbia, South Carolina area to sell a variety of pre-cast concrete products to the construction industry.
